About Us
Landfill Systems have created a number of technical solutions in recent years and as a progressive organisation, we continue to seek new products and solutions to develop.
Formed in 1995, Landfill Systems was created by owner / manager Nick Palmer in response to the growing demand for electrical & mechanical engineering services relating to the landfill gas renewable energy industry.
The company quickly outgrew its initial location as the demand for fabricated equipment increased. In 2003 Landfill Systems purchased a substantial workshop and office complex at its current industrial location.
Since that time the Company has undergone steady expansion and our team now includes skilled, degree-level Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineers.
Our Expertise
Our core strength lies in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality gas flaring systems. We specialise in:
- Landfill Gas Flares – Custom-designed to meet evolving compliance and environmental standards.
- Biogas Flares – Engineered for anaerobic digestion (AD) facilities and agricultural applications.
- Low-Calorie Gas Flares – Built to manage challenging gas compositions from aging landfill sites.
- Electrical & Mechanical Engineering – From control panels to full-site integration, our team delivers robust infrastructure solutions.
We support clients across the UK and abroad, working with landfill operators, AD plant managers, waste processors, and renewable energy developers.
